The game is an excursion based on the principle of a text quest, with tasks-locations. Goal is to introduce players to the topic (concept, meaningful approaches to understanding the essence of AI and some practical solutions in this area), and in an interactive format of group work with a moderator, give them the opportunity to try, for example, pass the Turing test, solve the problem of the Chinese room, distinguish a deepfake from a real image, etc. The game can be modified for various tasks, both in terms of content and target audience. The version presented at this master class: "Hero's journey through AI" (inspired by the book The Emperor's New Mind by Roger Penrose). Players are researchers, aimed at dealing with the strange activity of the latest super-powerful AI, which is no longer understood by its creators. Artificial intelligence has stopped giving out answers in code, switching to an image-symbolic language that researchers will have to process by themselves immersing in a virtual environment in where situations are generated by the machine. In order for players not to get lost in virtual reality, they are helped by operators (moderators) who keep in touch with them during the dive, trying to interpret the situations in which players find themselves, based on a database with the original AI patterns. Eventually, the players return and give their report to the scientists. You will get acquainted with the key problems that exist in the field of AI research: the Turing test, the Chinese room experiment and others

4:30 pm — 5:30 pm
2020 turned Russian higher education towards online technologies, and two cases of online formal education programs in partnership with EdTech companies appeared on the market. In particular, the case of NUST MISIS and SkillFactory in the field of "Data Science". As part of the master class, together with our experts and representatives of EdTech companies, we will try to deal with the following questions:

1. Is it easy to create a joint online product for a university and an EdTech company?
2. What are the stages of the joint development of the program
3. How to go from idea and initial agreements to implementation
4. Why do universities need such products and how do they fit into the development strategy of the university and entering new markets
5. How to choose a partner to launch a joint program
6. What markets in Russia have not yet been covered by universities
7. Will the new format of cooperation help Russian universities conquer the international market?
