Technologies transform the system of education and the learning environment, increasing the volume of information and broadening academic opportunities. What is going to happen to schools and universities in 30 years?

This project session aims at providing opportunities to pupils and students share their vision of the education in the future. What it will look like in 10-20 years and why it will face these particular changes?

4-5 group projects will be designed, the best one will be presented to the experts in the framework of the international conference on May, 31

Massive open online courses (MOOCs) became widespread all over the world. Leading universities produce them, leading instructors design them, thousands of people from all over the world study them.

We will give the floor to students and pupils. The participants are going to form groups and answer the following questions:

  • What does an ideal MOOC consist of?
  • Effective learner-learner and learner-instructor interaction: what does it look like?
  • Ideal course mentors: what are they and how learners benefit from them?

The participants will formulate new ideas and will design their project. The best projects are going to be presented to experts and future MOOC producers on May, 31 and June, 1

Some people are afraid of such a task - it is difficult to get where you should start from. We will give the floor to students and pupils. The participants are going to form groups and answer the following questions:

  • What does an ideal MOOC consist of?
  • Effective learner-learner and learner-instructor interaction: what does it look like?
  • Ideal course mentors: what are they and how learners benefit from them?

The participants will formulate new ideas and will design their project. The best projects are going to be presented to experts and future MOOC producers on May, 31 and June, 1

  • Ideal course mentors: what are they and how learners benefit from them?

The participants will formulate new ideas and will design their project. The best projects are going to be presented to experts and future MOOC producers on May, 31 and June, 1

If you have never thought about it, you should devote sometime now: there are no right answers to these questions. Though, students may reply to one of them. That is why we organise debates on the following topic: this house is for total move of education to online.

Each question in debates is formulated as a topic. To get ready with their PRO and CONS students will get 15 minutes. It is not as difficult as it seems.
